Time to meet the intern!

So over the last few years, the passerine station has been very forturnate to have an intern each of the last few season to help out and hopefully learn something from this banding idiot. This year, our intern is Katie Cowan. She is originally from northern Virginia, but went to college in northern California, and just got finished working aboard fishing boats in Alaska! She has fit in very well here at the banding station and has a strong drive to learn as much as she can at the banding station, and she is catching on extremely fast. It has been great to have her around! I keep telling her that the Yellow-rumped Warblers are coming. I think she is way excited! Hope she is not disappointed!
